The kick-off of the new season on Sorare NBA is fast approaching! The 2023-2024 season of the American basketball championship kicks off this Tuesday, October 24. For the competitions, Sorare has revamped the game mode to further enhance the manager’s experience. Here’s the list of competitions by card category:
- ⚪ Common: Garage Hoops, Rec League, Limited Tip-Off, Pickup
- 🟡 Limited: Champion, Contender, Underdog
- 🔴 Rare: Champion, Contender, Underdog
- 🔵 Super Rare: Champion, Contender, Underdog
- 🟣 Unique: Champion
- 🌈 Mix: Streetball
After the success of the previous season, Sorare mobile app confirms the Underdog tournament in the Limited and Common categories and creates a mixed card category with the Streetball tournament.
As for Game Week rewards, in addition to the money earned from the best rankings, the platform is committed to keeping 40% of the cards for competitions. As with soccer, cash rewards are also available to all players who so wish!
New NBA 2023/2024 Sorare cards
Before we get to the new design, we need to start with the new name of the NBA cards, which are now called “pro cards”. As a reminder, Common cards are the only cards that cannot be bought or sold.
The Sorare Design team drew inspiration from the timeless design principles of renowned product designer Dieter Rams. The aim was to harmoniously combine basketball elements with elegant design, creating a minimalist aesthetic.

- The №1 edition of each card will feature a distinctive badge on its serial number.
- If a player’s card serial number matches his jersey number, a special badge will be applied
- Sorare NBA managers can now identify each player’s country of birth
- NBA cards available in 3D
